Ladies and gentlemen, esteemed colleagues, and distinguished guests,
It is my great pleasure to welcome you all to our prestigious International Research and Education Conference that brings together scholars, researchers, educators, and professionals from around the world to exchange knowledge and ideas.
As the Chairman of the Organizing Committee, I am truly honored to see such a diverse and talented group of individuals gathered here in this conference. This conference is a testament to our shared commitment to advancing research and education in our respective fields.
Over the two day-conference, we will have the opportunity to engage in stimulating discussions, attend insightful presentations, and forge new collaborations that will undoubtedly contribute to the advancement of knowledge and innovation.
I encourage all of you to actively participate, share your expertise, and engage in meaningful dialogue with your peers. Let us seize this opportunity to learn from each other, inspire one another, and make a lasting impact on the future of research and education.

About AQSA
ASEAN Quantity Surveyors Association (AQSA)
ASEAN Quantity Surveyors Association also known as AQSA was established in December 2020. Our aim is to extend cooperation among ASEAN countries through Quantity Surveying services mobility, fostering close working relationship, establishing base line standard for practices and education development. AQSA membership is currently consists of professional bodies of quantity surveyors in ASEAN countries. Member Country can submit list of qualified individual and consultants that are licenced to practice as quantity surveyors to be evaluated and approved by AQSA. Amongst the benefits for being registered with AQSA are:
- Registered individuals and consultant’s quantity surveyors will be given assistances to be registered to practice in the ASEAN region. AQSA will also collaborate with The ASEAN Secretariat, MATRADE and MITI to facilitate the necessary process and documentation.
- Able to share knowledge and experiences of other member countries.
- Member country can share their training programs, CPD talks, seminars and short courses.
- Able to use AQSA net-workings and linkages with all the member countries to explore business, jobs and trainings opportunities in the region.
The brief objectives of the society are:
- to promote the mobility of the Quantity Surveying profession in ASEAN countries.
- to foster closer relations, cooperation, and mutual understanding amongst Quantity Surveyors in ASEAN countries.
- to establish and develop an ASEAN baseline standard for the quantity surveying profession and mutual recognition arrangement with the objective of facilitating the mobility of the Quantity Surveyors within the ASEAN countries.
- to promote adoption of best practices on standards of quantity surveying education, professional practices and qualifications.
AQSA membership is currently consisting of professional bodies of quantity surveyors in seven ASEAN countries as mentioned below.
- Royal Institution of Surveyors Malaysia (RISM)
- Singapore Institute of Valuers & Surveyors (SISV)
- Philippine Institute of Certified Quantity Surveyors (PICQS)
- Pertubuhan Ukur, Jurutera & Arkitek, Negara Brunei (PUJA)
- Ikatan Quantity Surveyors Indonesia (IQSI)
- Association of Quantity Surveyors (AQST), Thailand
- Quantity Surveying Chapter, Federation of Myanmar Engineering Society (FED MES)
The Associate Members are from Cambodia, Laos and Vietnam.
